CARECEN works with Los Angeles City College (LACC) to bring English as a Second Language classes to the community. There are intensive and regular courses. Intensive courses last about a month. Regular courses last about four months. All of the courses correspond with the LACC curriculum. Those who sign up for the classes at CARECEN receive a student ID from LACC and receive class credit. Classes take place weekday evenings and Saturdays. Schedules vary.
