Plaza Comunitaria allows enrolled students to progress at their own pace, at a computer terminal and through the Internet, but with help from CARECEN personnel, who also conduct computer literacy courses. When they complete all the requirements, the students can obtain a graduation certificate from the Mexican Secretary of Public Education, and if they choose, continue with their education.
