Summary of Duties
:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of applications for immigration relief.
  • Provide research and writing support for client cases.
  • Interview clients and assist in drafting legal declarations to accompany applications for immigration relief.
  • Work with clients to gather documentation to be submitted to U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) and/or immigration court.
  • Assist with intake screenings for potential clients.
  • Assist with follow up documentation and appointments with clients.
  • Assist in translating legal documents from Spanish to English.
  • The opportunity to attend adjustment of status interviews and/or immigration court proceedings.
