Approximately 100 day-laborers register for construction-related, clearing and cleaning yard work daily with an average of 50% finding temporary employment. Wages are negotiable.

• In addition to work referrals, the CARECEN Center offers:
• Basic English Classes from 10:00am-12:00pm Mondays-Thursdays
• GED Classes from 9:00am-11:00am Fridays
• HIV information and Testing from 8:00am-9:00am every Monday
• Information on Dental Hygiene, STD's, Know Your Rights at work and more on an informal basis
• Construction skills workshops on an informal basis
